Evaluating Sources

For each website, write a paragraph judging its validity. Which site is the most trustworthy? What criteria did you use to evaluate each source?

Criteria to look for:

      -          What are the credentials of the author?

-          Does the author makes concessions?

-         Is the topic relevant?

-          Where did the links lead you?

-         What are the credentials of the publisher?

-         What is the motivation of the publisher/author?

-         What are the domain names?

-          What is the visual appeal: formal vs informal?

-         What is the language used: formal informal?

Is this a website that you could use to support an argument in your academic writing?
